La muséographie dialogue avec l’architecture conçue par Kengo Kuma et son territoire immédiat et lointain. Elle déploie la collection selon une graduation d’ouverture vers la ville, du haut vers le bas, du plus ouvert au plus immersif. La mise en scène fait également référence à la structure du bateau. Elle répartit la collection sur les trois niveaux selon trois paysages intérieurs caractéristiques, instaurant un dialogue constant entre les objets et les gens.
The museum-visit sets up a dialogue with Kengo Kuma’s architecture and with both nearby and distant areas. The collection is deployed through a gradual opening onto the town, from top to bottom, and from the more open to the more immersive. The arrangement of spaces also recalls the structure of a ship. The collection is shared out between three levels, in line with three characteristic interior landscapes, providing a continual dialogue between objects and people.
